The RRAT's are a shoe that was designed for multiple purposes: from walking around the city, traveling or making a somewhat technical approach.
IN WHICH LANDS DO THE RRATS HAVE A BETTER PERFORMANCE?
The RRAT's are an all terrain shoe, which is versatile and functional for practicing outdoor sports. They have optimal performance on all types of surfaces, whether rocky or dirt soils. Thus, they manage to convey safety, stability and comfort, even on the most adverse terrain.
WHAT MATERIALS ARE THEY MADE WITH?
The RRAT's are made with top quality materials: polypropylene ribbons are 100% recyclable and have the same soft touch as cotton. The Vibram sole, on the other hand, is a guarantee of quality and grip. Velcro fastenings secure the foot and the non-slip technical lining that covers the upper part of the sole maximizes the safety of the foot.
ARE THE RRAT'S SUSTAINABLE SANDALS?
At RRAT's we love nature and that is why we develop sustainable footwear of the highest quality. 40% of the sandals are made from natural or recycled materials and the straps, made of polypropylene, are 100% recyclable. In addition, we manufacture them with local raw materials, to minimize the carbon footprint.
WHAT KIND OF SOLE DO THE SANDALS HAVE?
The RRAT's have a high density midsole with a thickness of 10 m/m. It is a completely flat sole, which has lumbar benefits and biomechanics. In addition, it is a very flexible base that allows the feet to bend and move naturally, as well as offering torsional stability and good cushioning as well as plantar protection. The Vibram Megagrip® outsole is ideal on both dry and wet surfaces and, together with the outsole design, provides reliable traction on various terrains.
WHAT KIND OF LAST DO THE RRAT'S HAVE?
The RRAT's have a natural fit last, which is wide and specially designed to benefit the natural state of the foot.
WHERE ARE THE RRATS MADE?
The RRAT's are designed and manufactured in the Mediterranean area, using materials from the region. For this reason, it is a local product with a minimal carbon footprint throughout the production process.
CAN THEY BE USED IN WINTER?
To extend the months of use of the RRAT's during the year, we have made an alliance with Lurbel to manufacture merino wool socks. These have an ergonomic design that fits perfectly to the sandal due to its “big” toe fit.
WHY ARE THEY CALLED RATT'S?
The name of this shoe is born from the absolute fascination for unique mountains in the world: Montserrat.
